There are four of us contributing to this site with plans to add additional stretchers (people who are good at stretching) who have an interest in easy stretching exercises for people of all ages, sizes, places and needs. When starting our site, our ages range from 29 to 64. We are both male and female and all of us have body shapes and problems and assets different from each other. In other words, we are all unique. Just like you. None of us are superjocks or consummate athletes yet we all want to go through life feeling great.
We believe easy stretching exercises should be taught to high school students and continued on through to our last breath. The body is made to stretch and be limber and most of what we humans do during the day causes us to knot up and tighten so much that our body loses its flexibility. Every day.
We also believe stretching should not be strenuous, mostly because if it weren’t, people wouldn’t do it. Also, vigorous stretching, if not properly done, may do harm. The end result: keep it simple!
We have all been injured somehow someway while attempting more than our bodies can tolerate. Stretching exercises were used in the cure and also in the prevention strategy. That’s how important it is. That’s why we want to share what we have learned and help others achieve what we have worked hard to accomplish:
